AI-Enhanced Design Workflow
The iterative process has three main stages, enabling the integration of AI into architectural design:
3D Modeling (Basic)
Create an initial 3D model serving as a foundation for explorations and future adjustments.
Tools: Sketchup, Revit, Rhino, Archicad, …AI Exploration and Brainstorming
Use AI tools to generate new ideas, refine concepts, and enrich the initial vision based on the base model.
Tools: Midjourney, Krea AI, Prome AI, …Iteration Refinement
Enhancement of AI-generated proposals by testing and refining concepts to achieve an optimal result.
Tools: Midjourney, Lookx AI, …
This cycle repeats by continuously adjusting the 3D model according to the newly generated ideas, fostering constant evolution and progressive optimization of the design.
At some point, it may become a back and forth between adjusting your 3D model and fine-tuning ideas with AI tools.
As a bonus step, once you are happy with your design and 3D model, you can take the visualization of your project to the next level by using AI tools that transform your basic 3D render into a realistic or stylized image.
